The MLT Foundation (www.mlt-cares.com) got to spend some quality time this last week with our very first engaged non profit Packs for Cold Backs. Such a pleasure meeting and discussing current restrictions with this crew based on Covid-19 times.

We helped with some interesting and controversial homeless registration for voting and I applaud this crew for stepping up and doing something when others won't. For Sacramento, they legally helped 51 homeless people either register or re-register to vote. All votes count! I only spent 4 hours with them, but the few I helped with were either relocated to Sacramento due to divorce, strange relationship dynamics or in a domestic violence situation where they couldn't get their ballot.

They are hosting a breakfast Sacramento Loaves & Fishes 10/23 for 250 people to continue providing back. Covid has changed the way they operate, but hasn't changed their passion.
